Laurel Mercantile Co.

Ask

Laurel Mercantile Co is the flagship store for Erin and Ben Napier, hosts of HGTV’s “Home Town” and located in Laurel, Mississippi. They partnered with us for the design of their spring tee graphics to add to their Baseball tee series. We were also asked to develop a logo for their furniture line, the Passageway Collection.

Execution

Product design is always one of our favorite tasks, so helping Laurel Mercantile Co. with their spring products was a memorable project that we are proud of! When tasked with the spring tees, the direction we went was a spring-like, feminine-leading, on-brand and versatile design across a bevy of products. The logo for the Passageway Collection was a project that needed to correspond not only to the Laurel Mercantile Co. brand, but also the Vaughn-Basset Furniture brand. This logo needed to bridge the gap between two established brands, all while making a name for itself. Our focus was to create a high-end, professional and classic feel, both simple and adaptable to allow for transfer onto signage, digital ads, assets, websites and all printed collateral necessary for furniture sales.
